On one of the most perfect Sunday afternoons in September Jessica and Joel tied the knot with the beautiful Lake Nokomis as their backdrop! With only their closest family and friends nearby they shared one of the most inspiring and intimate ceremonies I have ever been a part of! You can tell they are not only head-over-heals in love with each other but they are truly made for one another to share the lives together----and to top if off, they are amazingly cute for one another!
The bike that is in so many photos has a story behind it---it is actually Jessica's engagement ring. Joel took her on a walk/ride one day and proposed with this custom bike that he had made especially for her....he even included their initials as husband and wife on the bottom of it, so needless to say it had to appear on the wedding day! :)
And isn't she just radiant?!?!

And they headed out to their wildly eclectic and family friendly bowling alley reception!
And why not have a "first bowl" to replace the first dance idea.....I *soooooo* love that they did this. The night was full of bowling, chatting and having a great time with the MR and MRS!

So I couldn't resist sharing what a RAD time I had with Dena and Doug yesterday; although the weather's moody nature turned from sunny to hurricane-esque to sunny again I wouldn't have wished my time with them any other way! After some down-town fun, we ventured out to find the *best* fields in St. Croix county and came upon some pretty happinin' places.
Doug and Dena not only sport the mere perfection of vintage awesomeness but they are down-right in love...they share their love for fashion and design together along with heir smiles that bring a contagious sense of humor! The items they brought along to the shoot were perfect and I only wished that we would have had more sunlight to run around in....

AND THEY BROUGHT THE HAPPY APPLES WITH!! Does anyone else remember how fun those were to play with when you were little?!?!?! They even make the cutest little sound when they wobble back and forth......memories....
They happen to hold special meaning to Doug and Dena too. Doug had one before they were married and Dena had some jealousy for how awesome it was; so when Doug proposed to Dena he decided to do it in an antique store where the ring happened to be around the top stem of a happy apple. So now they each have a happy apple of their own! How cute is that?!?!?!

We found this rusty bike by the side of the road...I couldn't resist! So, what better spot than to share a few cokes with each other?!? :)

Probably one of the cutest families in the neighborhood, The Olson family stole my heart last week with their little Cooper, who just turned one! Dusty and Lexie are downright fun parents that LOVE to play with Cooper and make him laugh until his belly hurts. We spent some time running around their backyard while Cooper kept exploring the ants, sand, sticks and fresh leaves that had fallen to the ground---he was mesmerized!Cooper's blue eyes and blond spiky hair are enough to steal anyone's attention from across the room---and the best part is that he has 2 perfectly cute little teeth that are coming in front and center! They are sooooo adorable when he smiles to show off his new pearly whites AND dimples! *sigh* :)
Mommy and Daddy could get Cooper to laugh so much that I started giggling right along with him! :)
HANDS DOWN my favorite Mommy+me photos *EVER*! Lexie's smile is the evidence of a mother's love and you can almost hear Coopers giggle in these...melt my heart!

Who doesn't just *love* spending a few hours with the cutest, most outgoing 4 year old princess on a Saturday afternoon!?!?! Well, I DO! Frankie and I had our adventures together on Saturday as she showed me just how fun it is to twirl and dance, how necessary it is to wear pink accessories around the house and how singing at the top of our lungs is a *must* in her bedroom!
Frankie is a bundle of energy that I would be thrilled to play any day of the week (that is...if she can slow down long enough for me!) With her beautifully curly blond hair, dark eyes and stunning personality, this little 4 year old sure is a REAL PRINCESS!

This wedding was the most fun, amazing and down-right most beautiful Irish wedding I have *ever seen*! The details that Colleen and Brian pulled out were not only beautiful but amazingly thought out---they had a bagpiper at the ceremony, amazing green decor at the reception and Irish tea to send guests home with after the festivities!
Colleen and Brian are the life of any party....I found that out real fast at the rehearsal dinner Friday night. :) They are both funny, outgoing and very genuine, so, needless-to-say their wedding reflected every inch of their attractive personalities! With live music all weekend long to entertain their guest, they threw a party that was out of this world (that I am sure will have people talking for MONTHS)!

The party was *a hit* with a KILLER LIVE band. The dance floor was full the entire night while people laughed the night away with the newlyweds.....
Colleen and Brian, you are ROCKSTARS! Your wedding was unbelievably amazing with touches that were so personal and perfect! I wish you the best of time getting a tan on your honeymoon and starting your new life out together in Omaha!!!!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect and fun weekend away in Waupaca, WI!

Ms. Caroline is the sweetest, most beautifully genuine girl you will ever come across---she is only a senior in high school and already has it all together! She came all the way up from DC (to be in her sisters wedding of course) and we decided to make it a two-fur and get her senior photos done all at the same time!!
