Heather and John : enchanted barn, hillsdale wi

Heather and John are the kind of people that make you a better person just for knowing them!

Granted, I only met them about 6 hours before they exchanged vows but immediately I felt like family in their amazing group of relatives and friends! :) Their charming Enchanted Barn wedding was TO DIE FOR…as you can see from some of the photos. John and Heather embody the idea of what life is all about…..easy going, full of laughter and straight up genuine! :) No crazies, no crabbies…..just sweet and simple. And that is why I fell head over heals for them and their beautiful love.

Their story is amazing. I had tears in my eyes from the moment I started chatting with Heather at the salon on Saturday morning. John and Heather share a story that is bittersweet…..they met through John’s sister, Jessie, who was Heather’s BFF in college. Since Jessie lost her life from cancer last year they creatively tied in many MANY things to remember and toast to the reason they found each other in this crazy world. From her initials embroidered on the train of Heather’s dress, to listening to a recorded song sung by Jessie at the ceremony and taking a shot of tequila during the toasts to remember such an inspiration in their relationship! It was FABULOUS and inspiring to say the least! :)

The Enchanted Barn is nestled in the rolling hills of Wisconsin and couldn’t be more perfect for a fun-loving, easy going, head over heels in love couple. The day was PERFECT to the core! :) :) :)
